Introfex was established in 1975 and is an evolution of the initial food business set up by Karadimas family in 1922 in Piraeus. Today, Introfex is considered to be one of the biggest and most specialized food crafts in Greece after 4 generations. People-centered, we work hard to create high quality products aiming for a future with a better diet, accessible to every family.

Main Services

Mass Imports

Introfex imports large quantities of raw material in bulk for products such as cereals, chocolate, dried fruit, nuts, cocoa powder, instant chocolate, instant mash potato in flakes and coffee filters from the most specialized manufacturers in Europe.

Quality Packaging

We have the flexibility to meet our customers’ needs in terms of package design under private label or with our own brands.

Responsible Logistics

Our warehouses ensure that we always have stock of fresh product and we are ready to deliver the desired quantity at the desired time at the desired place. Either with our own trucks or with logistics partners, we can deliver responsibly and promptly all our customers of any size.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are a blend of our people, our technology and our warehouses. Following strictly the regulations about food safety management, we produce around 100,000 units of fresh product every day, which is ready to be sent to our clients nationally.

FSSC 22000:2010

Introfex has been assessed and complies with the requirements of

FSSC 22000:2010

Certification scheme for food safety systems including ISO 22000:2005, PAS 220:2008 and additional FSSC 22000 requirements.

This certificate is applicable for:

Production, packaging, wholesale distribution and retail sales of cereals, cereal based snacks, cocoa powder, instant mashed potatoes and instant chocolate drinks.

Bio Products

Introfex has been assessed and complies with the provisions of EC Regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008 and their amendments as they apply each time for the Production and Selling of the following products:

"Corn Flakes"
"Whole Grain Oat Flakes"

Establishment of the store with colonial food products in Piraeus.

Next to the biggest and busiest port of Greece at the time, Piraeus, Thanasis Karadimas established the initial food business. The company was selling products such us: sugar, milk, coffee, spices, etc.
Taking over the company by Myron Karadimas

As the founder of the company Thanassis passes away after the Second World War, the company is taken over by the son of Myron Karadimas.
Direct import of products from abroad.

In the 60s, Myron Karadimas son of Thanasis took over the imports of the first supermarket stores of the country (Sklavenitis, Thanopoulos, AB Vasilopoulos) alongside with his own activities in products such as: coffee, milk, cheese, cans.
Establishment of INTROFEX

In addition to the first company, INTROFEX is founded and handles imports, packaging and distribution of instant coffee and milk powder for the first time on the entire Greek market. The coffee was named "Myrcafé" by the name of Myron Karadimas. At the same time with the founding of INTROFEX, the company opens its first modern factory of that time at Tavros, Attica.
Expansion of the company's product portfolio

The product portfolio was expanded with coffee (american), coffee filters, tea, cheese, alcoholic beverages (whiskey) and cans.
Creation of the first private label in Greece for the supermarket Marinopoulos and Veropoulos.

Introfex packs a Private Label product for the first time in Greece. The product was COCOA powder and was created for the companies Marinopoulos and Veropoulos.
Import and packaging of cereals for the first time by a Greek company in the country.

Creation of MILLHOUSE cereal brand.

Introfex becomes the first company to import and pack cereals in Greece under the brand MILLHOUSE. The type with which the activity began was Corn Flakes in very pioneering packaging for the season.

In the 90's the portfolio was enriched with other cereal products such as Chocolate Pops, Choco Flakes, Fruit & Fibre and Bran Sticks.

Creation of the first private label in Greece in cereals for big supermarket chains.

Introfex becomes the first company to pack cereals under the name of its individual customer.
Relocation to our main owned plant in Rentis

Introfex buys and installs in its own factory in which remain till today. A plant that is at the forefront in order to serve our clients' needs, in which substantial funds have been invested to upgrade technologically.
First product exports to Cyprus

This year Introfex makes its the first opening outside of Greece, by exporting products to Cyprus.
continuous development of the company's infrastructure

Since 2010-11 until today, investments and developments are being made in big automated machines and warehouse facilities for the import packaging and distribution of products throughout the Greek market.
